Casa de Cello, Quinta da Vegia Solo Franco 2019

Casa de Cello has been a family run winery for a little over four generations. Located in the central interior of Portugal, they champion and specialise in indigenous Portuguese grape varieties, which are all exhibited in their Quinta da Vegia Solo Franco 2019. A floral-spicy nose of violet, black pepper and cinnamon is the backdrop for powerful flavours of blackberry, liqourice and tobacco on the palate. A very enjoyable and accessible wine for lovers of big, robust reds.
